Laptops for Open Road Norfolk students

A Plug the Gap team member handing over a refurbished laptop to a young person in an Open Road jacket

We were so pleased to support Open Road Norfolk with laptops for their talented young people. Thank you to Billie Lawler and Adam at Open Road Norfolk in Thetford for a lovely welcome and a tour of the workshop.

Chrissie Nebbett also delivered a further donation of laptops and Chromebooks for Open Road’s students, who use them for maths, English and research.

Chrissie Nebbett kindly delivered these today (thank you!) and she was so pleased to hear about the fantastic results that our first cohort of students achieved around improvements to their functional skills – Maths and English – with support from Kip McGrath Education Centres (King’s Lynn). We couldn’t have done this without Plug the Gap’s generous support and it just highlights what we can do when working together for a common good.
